It Doesn't Hold.

Benign Thoughts?
the designed valley of grandeur allusions
do you know the stomped on desires
flapping on the carpet for their last breath
could you ever feel that agonizing wait
growing every second in a jarred clock
for the steel gates to open and welcome
do you still possess those goosebumps
they got extinct a few summer years before
self deprecated form of oppression
such an art, hanging by the ceiling
have you completely lost the pathway
I could help you if you find me there
wandering on the macabre street
would you realize what you were here for
or have you for ever made peace with
no purpose, silence and yearning.
Tracking
Moment it does, the projections begin and that was the last time I tracked myself.
Cast Aside!
I have lost sight of the destination, prevalent though she is in my thoughts.
Traversing her pre decided contours I stop and wonder!
And keep on.

To Be
Flexed throats
Blood coughs
Electric shocks
Pinched skin
Arctic winds
To feel alive
Pervert imagination
Rejected romance
One sided streets
Loss of time
Unfulfilled now
To feel alive.

Jenny's Day In
Dust stains reveal the perished
Jenny stays hungry, still waiting
She is bitter, lost in melancholy
Her soar throat cannot stretch
Tied to that last thread of hope
She decides to cut it herself
When will the bell ring, she wonders
While scratching and clawing
Her skin is almost thin
Bordering the sinew, she barks
For that one last time
If only Tim could hear her
Sleeping with a rope around
His neck so fragile
The room would be his cemetery
He made sure, Sorry Jenny.
A Puzzle of Calm
Lets maintain that tiny speck
Of thin veil, that shroud of mystical aura
A firm and hopeful request
To deliberately hide that piece
Missing from the evolving puzzle
Let us never find a solution
For I'm afraid it could all slip
Carefully constructed mask of calm
For I'm petrified of the prospect
Of the curtain closing on the audience
Maybe lets take a dive into identity crisis
To keep slipping away from the abyss
Which is bustling with the undisclosed
Till this frozen lake thaws in time
That life is alive with new beginning.

Brown Eyes and The Last Talk
to meet his muddy brown eyes for that one last time
her blank canvas of a face only scarred by minor twitches
his stubborn eyes shoddily holding the water with continual bridges
silence had taken over the inexplicable feelings to which they belonged
she shuddered as he took her hand gently, of whatever he could grasp
his bewildered hair told tales she knew by heart, then she finally broke
he tried to talk for this finale, marching ahead to surpass
scarcity of words was not an art, he always had a poet's heart
for a moment his faith had crumbled, time was a cruel master
farewells bring out a catharsis, time dipped in a pink rose tinted
blood filled streets were no more a distraction, planes flew by
frozen in time remained their conversation, no audience to pry
picked out one by one, trembling voice and hands hard
her complexion returned with every syllable, why was this so short?
she exclaimed, he replied as only he could 'That's why you will remember, love.'
his eyes filled up with contentment to have finally made her
understood his choice, he wasn't meant to be eternal like the sun
happiness and gloom filled equally as the distance increased
he could finally be at peace, bullets awaited so did the rain.

Soon Till Later
Suspended in this knot so tender
Afraid of nothing and everything
I'm the real thing, not a pretender
Won't you come home to me?
I don't know this path I'm on
Roaming around, a desolate fawn
Love has been a good friend of mine
Though it was not always roses & wine
The broken vase is on the mend
Gentle repetition firms the cracks
love has always been my glue
I hope to sail, even if all is through
Returning to affinity when in vicinity
conversations laced in delicacy
Why to reminisce when we can see
Change is so strange and so are we
I lie out in the stonefield
Beneath the balmy night sky
Barely draped fabric around
Waking up the ghoul so shy
The stars don't judge out here
Skin caressed by the moonlight
I feel understood by this care
floating away in this dead space
I know the words held deep down
I know the dance of its sound
I save it within me as I leave soon
I don't have much time but I wait
Swayed and swept till later.
